Butchey is a 2-year old, neutered male, weighing-in at around 35 pounds.  He's a good boy, but lacks some confidence skills.  He's selective of his dog friends, and quickly attaches to his human.  We think that with a dog savvy adopter, he can become a more confident and well-rounded dog.  We would prefer he be adopted into a dog savvy household, someone who will patiently take the time to show him how to live his best life, and give him the confidence he needs, at a slow pace, and possibly with the assistance of a trainer.  If there are other animals in the home, we absolutely will do several meet & greets prior to considering an adoption.  We believe Butchey would do best in a home with an older, mature, stable, female canine.  He'll need another dog to show him exactly how to be a dog, but in a gentle manner.  

Butchey's currently in a boarding / training facility, where he has started to pickup on his own self-confidence.  We want this to continue for him, of course.  He will require a physical fence.  This is not negotiable.  Please read Adoption Info on the left side of our website.
